God hears your prayers! Most people believe God is distant, too far to hear. However, the Bible teaches that God is very near and your prayers are before Him. The temple had the altar of incense before the veil, which separated the Holy of Holies from the Most Holy Place. But when Jesus died on the cross, that veil was torn in two, and there is no longer a separation. Hence, our prayers can go up before God's Throne, just like the altar of incense went up before God's presence. Be confident in listening and knowing that your prayers are before God.
